I have been in the local area for three years. People have told me Stoners is a nice place. I went for lunch one day. Not many people in the place at noon. Waited a good while until server arrived with menu. I ordered clam chowder, fench fries and a drink. Clam cowder was as thick as wallpaper paste and as flavorful! Fries were hot but limp. I set my bowl of chowder aside waiting for my server to return. When she did I told her I didn't like it. She grabbed the bowl and left without a word. I had to flag her down to ask for a hamburger replacement. I also had to flag her for drink refills. Then on the check I was charged for the chowder and a manager had to ring it off. My opinion is Longs is a long-time establishment with many loyal customers, but is coasting on it's reputation and getting slack.
